He is a defeated enemy!

\'My beloved, listen to My voice, and listen now! Be in all ears for what is said to you is for now! The enemy who has been persecuting you is defeated. O yes, he is defeated enemy! What used to cause you so much harm, now growls like a lion cub. You are greater, and its strength is like the strength of a child! My mighty one, this is the last growl that you hear. Let him think that he is in control! Whilst he is laughing, My sword will come like a thief to strike him down! Stand firm in faith, and in no time, you will see this enemy no more! He is defeated!\', says the Lord your God.

\'See, I will defend your cause and avenge you. I will dry up her sea, and make her springs dry. Babylon will be a heap of ruins, a haunt of jackals, an object of horror and scorn, a place where no one lives. Her people all roar like young lions; they growl like lion cubs. But while they are aroused, I will set out a feast for them, and make them drunk so that they shout with laughter- then sleep forever and not awake, declares the Lord.
