'It is the day of the Lord'!

\'My precious one, stand on top of the highest and blow My trumpet. Let those who have ears listen! I am the Lord Almighty and I am galloping ahead of My army. Now is My day, the day of the Lord! I am against the wicked. My hungry sword is pointing at those who plot evil against My people. For ages, I have watched them gloating over the righteous ones of the Lord. For years, I have been seeing them repeatedly stealing and destroying what belongs to you. Without mercy, they have separated what I have joined together. For many months, I have watched them causing divisions in My house. Through lying lips, they have deceived My holy people into gossiping and backbiting My anointed ones. Aha! Aha! They laugh against the Lord because they convince themselves that their wicked ways are hidden to My face. No! I have seen it all! I say, now is My time- the time of the Commander of the army! Out of My nostrils comes the burning smoke of My anger. Under My feet are the dark clouds that signal the coming of the sweeping floods at the land of the enemy. Tall trees that have been persecuting My children will be swept off the surface like a feather being lifted up by light wind. It is the day of the Lord, and all that is wicked must go!\', says the Lord of Hosts.

\'Woe to those who plan iniquity, to those who plot evil on their beds! At morning\'s light they carry it out because it is in their power to do it. They covet fields and seize them, and houses, and take them. They defraud a man of his home, a fellowman of his inheritance. Therefore, the Lord says: \'I am planning disaster against this people, from which you cannot save yourselves. You will no longer walk proudly, for it will be a time of calamity. In that day men will ridicule you; they will taunt you with this mournful song: \'We are utterly ruined; my people\'s possession is divided up. He takes it from Me. He assigns our fields to the traitors.\'- Micah 2:1-4
