My beloved, the word that you speak becomes a vow to Me. Do not break your vows. Do not speak one thing to your brother, and do otherwise. Do not promise with your mouth, and do nothing with your hands. This is called lying, and it breaks My heart.
My dear child, watch every word that comes out of your mouth. My ear listens to it from the time it enters your heart. Before you utter it, I already know! Now, keep to your word. Respect your word, because every word you speak, I hear, and it becomes a vow to Me!\', says the Lord your God

\'When you make a vow to God, do not delay in fulfilling it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow. It is better not to vow than to make a vow and not fulfill it. Do not let your mouth lead you to sin. And do not protest to the temple messenger:\' \'My vow was a mistake.\' Why should God be angry at what you say and destroy the work of your hands?\'- Ecclesiastes 5:4-6
